Simon Vilms Pedersen
Simon is a recognized multidisciplinary researcher spanning several scientific fields, including biophotonics, machine learning, ammonia volatilization, heat- and mass transfer, programming, and microfabrication. As a result, he often takes an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving. In addition to his scientific work, he is also engaging in professional bodies and councils. He has been particularly involved in University Politics around PhD students, and more recently, in the Danish-UK Association facilitating dialogue and discussions across organizations. Privately he’s an enthusiastic pianist, having played the piano since the age of six.
